Our client, one of the leading financail services, is seeking a Sales Trader to join the team. As a Sales Trader, you will be responsible for executing orders from institutional clients and swap counterparties in listed securities.
Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent trade executions and equity financing services to clients and counterparties. You will work closely with the institutional sales force to identify trading, financing, and hedging opportunities for clients.
Additionally, you will interpret investment opinions from research reports and provide market information and financing tools to optimize equity investment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the institutional sales force to identify trading, financing, and hedging opportunities for clients.
- Interpret investment opinions from research reports and provide timely market information to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned client organizations through trading and execution services.
- Ensure good trade executions, financing, and risk control for clients.
- Channel market information flow to clients in a timely manner.
- Provide financing and hedging tools, such as swaps or other instruments, to optimize financing and risk control for equity investment.
- Work under supervision to deliver accurate and efficient trade executions.
- Understand clients' investment behavior, risk appetite, and orientation.
- Uphold high moral values and demonstrate a customer-oriented and proactive personality.
- Work diligently, handle pressure, tight schedules, and long hours.
- Pay attention to detail and work with a quick mind.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in a finance-related field.
- Experience as a Sales Trader in Hong Kong and global stock markets, including listed and OTC markets.
- Knowledge of securities trading and relevant licenses.
- Familiarity with equity financing, risk control, and hedging strategies.
- Strong understanding of client investment behavior and risk appetite.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
