A leading Foreign Corporate Bank is now looking for a Team Lead to join their Trade Finance team (Bills Operations Team).
Your new role
- Act as the Final Checker & Approver on import/export bills operations and follow up bills transactions with any issues;
- Responsible for all daily Trade Finance Operations (Import LC issuance/amendment, bill booking and payment, document checking and Guarantees; Export LC related products (Advising, Confirmation, Discounting etc.);
- Handle Back to Back LC and Transferable LC;
- Assist the Team Head of Trade Finance Operations to manage & execute all operational and control procedures with full compliance in accordance with the guidelines of Head Office/ Regional/ Branch/ HKMA;
- Supervise the Trade Finance Operations functions of 2 headcounts for daily bills operations and processing;
- Handling queries from both internal and external customers for the trade finance business;
- Participate in system enhancement and conduct UAT
What you'll need to succeed
- University graduate in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study.
- Minimum 8 years relevant hand-on experience in Trade Finance Operations
- Familiar with ICC UCP600, URC522 and other related rules.
- CDCS holder will be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English;with applicable local language highly desirable but not required.
